Name change already!
So I was originally “Kannadie,” but it was brought to my attention that that could be interpreted as “Can I die?” instead of “Can-ah-dee-ay” as I intended. So now it’s just Kannade. “Kanade” in Japanese is a name meaning “to play an instrument,” but I doubled the “n” as a nod to Yoko Kanno, one of my favorite composers and my musical role model. :-) Music is kind of my thing, if you can’t tell. :-P
